Members of the Job Shop graduating class June 2009

The Goodwill Job Shop Program offers training and support for new Canadians, including direct support for individual internationally trained professionals. The program consists of a two-week workshop, plus three weeks of job coaching and financial assistance for those who want their international credentials assessed.

Subjects include:

Know the trends in your occupation
Identify and eliminate your barriers
Prepare Canadian-style resumes and cover letters
Enhance your job interview skills
Learn How to Get your Credentials Assessed and your Professional License
Achieve your Career Goal through a Dynamic Action Plan

*Minimal Level 4 English is required.
