What is your mission?
We provide work opportunities and skill development for people who face employment barriers. Each year our programs and services give people the chance to transform their lives through the power of work.

Is Goodwill non-profit?
Yes. Goodwill Industries of Toronto is a registered not-for-profit charitable organization. A volunteer Board of Directors that is made up of local citizens provides oversight to Goodwill and ensures that it meets the needs of the citizens of our community.

Where is your administrative office?
Our administrative offices are located at 365 Bloor Street East, 14th Floor in Toronto. Our area of service includes Greater Toronto, Central and Eastern Ontario.

How do I know that my donation is supporting a real charity?
There are many organizations asking for your support. Some are registered charities and some are not. Some sell the goods they collect to private companies. When you donate to Goodwill, you know that the whole benefit of your donation is supporting our charitable cause. The revenue we generate from selling your donated goods assist people facing employment barriers to connect with meaningful work experience, learning and ultimately jobs in our community.

If you are approached by an organization looking for a donation, we would encourage you to ask questions about the way your donation will be used, by whom and how much of it will support a charitable organization. And we hope that you will choose Goodwill as your charity of choice.

How can I get involved in Goodwill?
There are so many ways! Here's how you can get involved:

  • Donate your reusable goods
  • Coordinate a donation drive in your workplace or community
  • Shop at a Goodwill Store
  • Do business with Goodwill
  • Recruit employees from Goodwill
  • Volunteer your time and expertise
