| Goodwill Toronto is pleased to assist members of
the media with their research needs. In this section of our website,
you can find a variety of third-party endorsed research papers and
status reports which could serve as valuable background materials
for media filing stories.
Goodwill is available to speak to the media on a variety of community-related
issues, such as:
- Today’s employment realities:
relevant data revealing current status of today’s
working society
- The health, social and economic costs upon members of our society who cannot obtain meaningful
work
- Employment creation concepts and work
opportunities for Toronto’s at-risk youth
- A vision for community action and integration:
Goodwill’s reputation speaks for itself: a 70-year
history of creating jobs for thousands of individuals who
would otherwise be excluded from social and economic activity.
- Transitional Employment (TE): Goodwill’s
current state-of-the-art employment initiative provides
paid, on-the-job work experience and skills development
for hard-to-employ individuals. Transitional Employment
has had amazing results in the US & UK.
