Goodwill rebuilds its Community store
Interview and Photo Opportunities
WHAT: Goodwill announces the reopening of its Community Store in Etobicoke after it was damaged
by a fire in October of 2007. Come celebrate the reopening of this vital community store.
WHEN: June19th, 2008 at 8:45 a.m.
WHERE: Goodwill Etobicoke Community Store - 4975 Dundas St. W (between Islington and Kipling)
WHO: Opening remarks will commence at 8:45 a.m.. Guest speakers will include;
Michael Ignatieff,
M.P.- Etobicoke-Lakeshore; Laurel Broten, M.P.P.- Etobicoke-Lakeshore; City Councilor
Peter Milcyn; a Goodwill REACHTM employee; Joan Green, Board member of Goodwill.
There will be interviews and photo opportunities with Goodwill shoppers, donors
and Goodwill
REACH employee, also Ken Connelly, CEO of Goodwill and Mitzie Hunter,
VP of external relations.
WHY: Goodwill has rebuilt its community store in Etobicoke after a fire damaged it on October 28th, 2007 Goodwill thanks the community for its continuous and generous support, especially during the past months as they worked on reconstructing their store and rebuilding the community.
