The Ontario Trillium Foundation

In 2008 Goodwill was granted $100,000 to purchase material handling equipment, storage containers and computers to help maintain the efficiency and safety of its operations.

The Trillium Foundation was established in 1982 to ensure that a portion of the proceeds of the Ontario Lottery Corporation is directed toward social issues in Ontario. The foundation grants approximately $110 million annually to charitable and not-for-profit organization all across Ontario. Today the Trillium Foundation is one Canada’s leading charitable grantmaking foundations in Ontario.

Trillium’s mission is to help build healthy and vibrant communities by investing in community based initiatives that fall into 4 major categories; Arts and Culture, Environment, Sports and Recreation, and Human and Social Services.

The Jays Care Foundation

Goodwill, with the help of the Jays Care Foundation and Toronto Community Housing (TCHC) has created a program for youth called Goodwill REACH™ Higher. REACH™ Higher helps youth build life skills through work, by providing paid, part-time employment and life skills workshops to high school students living in TCHC.

The Jays Care Foundation was created in 1992 and provides programs that support physical activities; education and life-skills development that help children in need make positive choices in their lives.

The Foundation is dedicated to supporting programs, groups and activities that enhance the quality of life for children and youth. Since its inception the foundation has contributed over $1 million to worthwhile programs such as Field of Dreams, the Boys and Girls club and many more. In addition to its many programs and donations the foundation also provides grants to local charities serving youth in our communities.

Deloitte Foundation

The Deloitte Foundation is commited to help create a better Canada, through improving the quality of education, healthcare and youth services.

Goodwill is a Deloitte Foundation recipient as well an organization supported through Deloitte Impact Day- a firm-wide day of volunteer service . 

RBC Foundation

Since 2007, RBC Foundation has supported Goodwill REACH™ initiative for youth from high needs communities.  This funding is a pivotal response to the challenges facing our communities, as it enables youth to improve their health and welfare through life skills and mentoring/coaching, while learning the value of work and earning a pay cheque. 

The RBC Foundation is committed to supporting organizations that inspire, involve and have a measurable impact in the communities in which they operate.
